WATER RESOURCES ANALYST II: $9,871 - $12,327/ MO DOQ
WATER RESOURCES ANALYST III: $10,896 - $13,607/ MO DOQ
The District is seeking a qualified individual to perform routine to complex professional planning and research work related to water supply and demand projections, groundwater management, water resources planning, and other water resources planning projects and tasks; compile, integrate, and analyze data; conduct research and studies; review policies; prepare technical reports and presentations; financial analysis, budgeting and water rates analysis; conduct grant management; and perform related duties as assigned.
Water Resources Analyst I/II/III is a flexibly staffed series. Water Resources Analyst I is the entry-level class in this series. Incumbents are responsible for performing routine duties in the collection and basic analysis of data, program tasks, and preparing technical reports and presentations. Water Resources Analyst II is the journey-level class in this series. Incumbents are responsible for performing higher-level data and cost-benefit analysis, program administration, and water resources planning of moderate difficulty and complexity. Water Resources Analyst III is the advanced-level class in this series. Incumbents are responsible for performing a variety of complex duties related to program coordination and administration, consultation on water resources planning as well as the assessment of strategic programs.
Required Education & Experience: Any combination of education and experience that provides the necessary knowledge and abilities is qualifying, along with the specific licenses/certifications including a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Water Resources Management, Environmental Studies, or related field. Master’s degree in a related field may be substituted for one (1) year of experience.
WATER RESOURCES ANALYST I – 0-2 years of water supply planning or engineering
WATER RESOURCES ANALYST II – 5 years of progressive responsibilities in water supply planning/engineering
WATER RESOURCES ANALYST III – 10 years of progressive responsibilities in water supply planning/engineering
