Responsibilities
Performs internal comprehensive Compliance Investigations to ensure that the City of Corpus Christi Utilities Department is in full compliance with state and federal regulations. Performs regulatory analysis and research on environmental issues of concern of the Utilities Department

  • Execute projects and strategies developed by the Water Quality Manager or the designee

  • Perform field data collection and data capture for further trend analysis

  • Lead the Internal Comprehensive Compliance Investigation team following guidelines developed by the Water Quality Manager

  • Oversee projects, performs field analysis of water quality parameters of concern and develops water quality protocols under the supervision of the Water Quality Manager

  • Create and maintains databases and spreadsheets along with completing data entry related to water quality and or other data

  • Process documentation and paperwork as required according to department procedures

  • Perform data trending analysis of water quality data for the Wastewater Treatment Plan Process Optimization program for the City of Corpus Christi

  • Initiate, coordinate and manage projects to ensure compliance with TCEQ regulations while protecting health and human safety

  • Complete inventory, ordering and stocking of supplies and inventory

  • Create reports and disseminates information to clients

  • Deliver professional internal/external customer service

  • May be asked to perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Requires a Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS)

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience

  • A combination of education and pertinent experience may be considered

  • Class D Water Operator License within 6 months of hire

  • A valid driver's license is required. Successful out of state candidates must be able to obtain a valid Texas driver's license within 90 days of hire

Salary: $48,021 to $78,688 Annually
