Placer County Water Agency encompasses the entire, 1,500-square-mile boundary of Placer County, ranging from the rim of the Sacramento Valley on the west to the Sierra Nevada and Lake Tahoe on the east. The Agency is headquartered in Auburn and carries out a broad range of responsibilities including water resource planning and management, retail and wholesale supply of irrigation water and drinking water, production of hydroelectric power and watershed stewardship across Placer County. We are seeking talented candidates to join our team for the position of:

WATER EFFICIENCY SPECIALIST II
$5,583 - $7,124 per month, DOQ, plus excellent benefits

PCWA is seeking an energetic individual to perform a variety of activities assisting in the Agency’s water efficiency programs, including performing residential and commercial landscape water surveys, conducting public outreach activities and assisting customers with water usage and meter-related questions to promote water efficiency. The ideal candidate for this position will possess increasingly responsible experience working in water efficiency programs for a water utility. Possession of a valid California State Water Resources Control Board Water Distribution Certificate, Grade 2 or the ability to attain one within 12 months of appointment is required. Possession of a valid CLIA Certificate or QWEL or equivalent within 12 months of appointment is required, and possession of a valid AWWA Water Conservation Practitioner Level 1 certificate or equivalent is desirable.
