Job Summary: Independent work conducting compliance activities on Environmental Resource Permits, Consumptive Use Permits, and Sovereign Submerged Lands authorizations.
Job duties include:
Conducts compliance activities on Environmental Resource Permits (ERP), Consumptive Use Permits (CUP), and Sovereign Submerged Lands (SSL) authorizations as well as proprietary conservation easements and fee reverted provisions. Responsibilities include conducting site inspections; reviewing construction plans, mitigation plans, and environmental data; reviewing compliance submittals; preparing and reviewing legal documents; responding to complaints and facilitating resolutions to non-compliance issues; performing permit determinations; coordinating with other compliance team members and supervisors; documenting compliance actions, activities and pertinent information in e-Reg; confirming compliance with proprietary conservation easement and fee reverted provisions; and communicating regularly with supervisor on projects with heightened concern.
Performs other tasks and duties including, but not limited to public outreach; attending and/or presenting at professional training sessions, seminars or workshops.
A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in biology, ecology, botany or environmental science and four years professional experience in the environmental field.
A master's degree from an accredited college or university in biology, ecology, botany or environmental science can substitute for one year of the required experience.
A doctorate from an accredited college or university in biology, ecology, botany or environmental science can substitute for two years of the required experience.
Base Salary: $53,414.40 Annually
