As a Pumping Plant Supervisor, you would supervise, schedule, implement, coordinate, direct and monitor work and resources to accomplish preventive and corrective maintenance activities and assigned projects for the related maintenance division functions of the Central Arizona Project (CAP).
Responsible for the operational availability, efficient operation and maintenance of (one to four) large pumping plants, generation stations and electrical switchyards, check structures and turnouts. Supervises crew consisting of multiple journeyman-level trades, crafts and labor disciplines that perform overhauls, installations, modifications, troubleshooting and predictive and preventative maintenance of plant equipment and systems, as well as local plant operations.
The successful candidate for this position will have a an Associate's degree or higher in an applicable field or completed a state-approved apprenticeship in related field plus 7 years of recent experience in the operations and maintenance of systems and equipment associated with large water delivery systems including pumping/generating plants, substations, switchyards, aqueducts and associated auxiliary equipment or other industrial facilities/environments that operate and maintain similar systems and equipment; OR a High School or GED plus 10 years of recent experience. Must have 2 years of progressive supervisory or leadership experience within the industry and good communication and interpersonal skills. A valid driver's license and good driving record is required. Having a Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP), Certified Plant Maintenance Manager (CPMM) or a Certified Reliability Leader (CRL) certification is a plus.
Starting Salary: $80,753 to $104,667 Annually
