We are looking for a Professional Administrative Analyst to perform complex and technical administrative work as a part of the Financial Service / Treasury team at the Great Lakes Water Authority.

Responsibilities (not all-inclusive)

  • You will perform technical tasks related to Financial Planning & Analysis, and conduct technical research and investigations

  • In this role you will initiate actions for the settlement of problems falling outside of routine procedures as well as implement approved systems or methods

  • You will oversee and manage tests of financial systems, changes and upgrades, while providing functional advice and support for business system users

  • You may be called upon to direct specific project activities, to work as a team member, or collaborate with other business groups

  • You will advise on requirements, policies, procedures and standard methodologies to accomplish business relevant to provision of organizational

Required Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree; with specialization in Finance, Business Administration or related field of study

  • Minimum of one year of experience related to the field and/or job assignment

  • Education requirement can be substituted with extensive experience, at the discretion of the Chief Executive Officer or designee

Knowledge and Skills

  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other business groups as well as external vendors and customers

  • Communicate frequently with team members and other groups across the Organization about process, equipment or potential problems

  • Business technology, data management systems and applications and organization-wide reporting tools

  • Organizational mission, processes, policies and procedures

  • Prepare formal and informal statements and exhibits, generate reports

  • Analyze the requirements of business systems and processes and independently analyze data in order to make recommendations for resolution and make recommendations to business processes

  • Demonstrate proficiency in written communication; conduct presentations on specified topics; communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing

  • Effectively utilize appropriate security and safety equipment and procedures

  • Use advanced technology to develop proficiency in unit specific operations and software and to complete specialized, technical assignments

Salary: $52,924 to $95,039 Annually
