Job Summary: Maintain and monitor equipment inventory.
Job duties include:
- Equipment Inventory and Tracking: Design and maintain inventory files to enable analytics such as assessment of instrument reliability, cost summaries and comparisons, and replacement planning for aging equipment. Track equipment warranties and assess appropriate path for malfunctioning equipment: warranty, repair, or replacement. Submit and track repairs, and update inventory with status of repaired equipment. Organize and maintain equipment storage areas. Process old equipment by documenting, packaging, and compiling surplus forms. Coordinate with field staff in all locations to ensure proper tracking of equipment and keep track of equipment in field office storage areas.
- Procurement: Procure new equipment via purchase order and P-Card, research and compare vendors for product applicability, reliability, and cost-saving opportunities. Verify vendor invoicing.
- General Support: Reconcile P-card transactions for bureau staff. Assist the fixed asset inventory custodian in completing property inventory. Maintain adequate stock of supplies for bureau.
A high school diploma or G.E.D., and three years of experience in property control, asset accountability, procurement, or related field. Additional Details: Starting Salary Range:
$38,105.60 - $47,632.00
Starting salary is based on qualifications and experience
