In this vital role, you will be on the front lines, maintaining and repairing our water distribution system. This includes everything from locating and fixing leaks to replacing water mains and ensuring water quality through sampling and flushing. You will also be a customer service ambassador, providing friendly and helpful assistance during inquiries and service calls.

What you will do:

• Maintain and repair water mains and related components.
• Respond to customer inquiries and service leaks with top-notch service.
• Ensure water quality through sampling and system flushing.
• Read and interpret system maps and perform basic calculations.
• Be part of a team that is essential to public health and safety.

What you will need:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Grade 2 Distribution Operator Certification (Required).
• Valid California Class C Driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A passion for providing excellent service.

Physical Demands: This role requires physical work, including walking, climbing, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.), and working outdoors in various weather conditions. You may also work in trenches, tanks, and elevated areas. Safety is our priority, and we provide all necessary safety equipment.
