Attention all innovators, visionary leaders, and technical experts! Valley Water - one of the largest water utilities in California and located in the South Bay Area - is looking for its next Director of Information Technology/Deputy Administrative Officer (IT DAO) to lead the IT Division within the Department of Administrative Services.

This is an exciting opportunity to oversee an expansive network of IT applications, infrastructure, and services for Valley Water while also overseeing 39 staff and an approximate budget of $30M. The IT DAO will be vested in meeting the internal business needs of the organization, improving services and accessibility to our customers, and maintaining data and systems security while deploying innovative technology solutions.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in managing a large-scale IT Division with unique business services, complex funding, and large-scale enterprise projects. They will also be an excellent leader and organizational partner, possess strong customer service skills, emotional intelligence, and verbal and written communication skills, and be business and politically savvy.
