Summary: Under the direction of the Manager of Financial Planning, and in coordination with the Customer Account Supervisor and Superintendent of Customer Service, coordinates, plans and implements a variety of programs, tools and analysis in support of both internal customer service staff and District customers. The Customer Engagement Coordinator has a thorough knowledge of utility or private sector billing processes and performs a variety of complex professional and analytical level duties to improve customer service by implementing process efficiencies through managing consultants and developing analysis to support recommendations for change; communicates effectively with customer service staff to understand technical capabilities in order to develop use cases and act as a coordinator for special projects in support of the District's leading customer service department; works collaboratively across the Customer Accounts, Finance, and Information Technology departments to understand customer needs and departmental objectives to recommend improvements and support training in deployment of new technologies to better serve District customers; and, provides direction, technical assistance and training to customer service and assigned staff. Incumbents are responsible for assisting the manager and supervisors in formulating and developing department goals and objectives, supervising assigned personnel and directing day-to-day activities. Duties and responsibilities are carried out with considerable independence within the framework of established policies and procedures. The work of this class involves accountability and decision-making responsibilities.

Salary: $5,963 - $9,046 Monthly
